Super-buggy jeep from For Your Eyes Only

My entry is the Super-buggy jeep from “For Your Eyes Only”. Although only standard version used by the baddies, I though Q could easily customise one for 007 with machine guns on the bonnet, rockets firing from the boot, and extendable double spring bumper to bounce baddies off the road.

To remain incognito there is a working 4 stroke piston engine, working driver steering, 4 independent suspension, license plates, and retractable front bumper.

As shown at  the buggy can be power function motorised without taking the body or panelling apart, where the battery box, servo and motor are placed side by side to keep the square ‘buggy’ shape.

As there is rear body suspension, the model consists of two separate parts which are pivoted, with lots of L-beams around the wheels to counteract the spring tension, while still leaving space for the 6 rockets and radar!

The panels and nearly all the 400 bricks (plus 4 wheels and 3 suspension) came from Lego set 8081.
