Space Telescope

The Space Telescope is the product of several years' worth of work and design.  It has taken a while, but I am pretty satisfied with its result.  My goal for this model was a telescope that looked realistic, yet also futuristic, while not consisting of too many pieces.

One of the cool features about it is that it is so customizable.  You can add on more detail or take detail off.  If you take off some of the extra scopes and computer on the main telescope you end up with a more general reflecting telescope.  I created a minfigure that I thought really worked well with the telescope as well as its carrying truck, but they may add too many more pieces than Lego would want in its "bonus" set.
