Light in the Darkness
To the judges: I have been trying very hard to adhere to the LEGO Ideas quality standards, and I sincerely hope this is what you're looking for.
On Earth, night is a time of silence and darkness; we associate it with loneliness and cold. Night on Pandora, however, is vastly different. Darkness brings out the exuberant life in every creature and creates a world of excitement and opportunity. Luminescent flora light our paths, and the sounds of Pandora's inhabitants surround us.
Rather than building a piece of Pandora as a separate, bounded model, I endeavored to fully immerse the viewer in Avatar’s unique world. Thus, the model fills the entire image, leaving almost none of the backdrop showing. This model was built using only real LEGO bricks.
