Tulkun Tribute Triptych

A trophy scale tribute to the beautiful gentle giants of Pandora, the Tulkun. Breaching majestically, visiting the Metkayina, or languishing alongside the lush shore, the Tulkun swim the crystal clear waters of Pandora alongside the Na’vi.

 

I wanted to capture three aspects of the Tulkun with this triptych. First, the Tulkun is MIGHTY, a Pandoran megafauna with no rivals. Second, the Tulkun is WISE, a teacher and guide to the Metkayina. Third, the Tulkun is GENTLE, a peaceful presence on chaotic Pandora.

 

I tried to include some foliage on the shoreline and a vibrant colorful life on the reef beneath the Metkayina home, as well as the majesty of one of the Three Brothers rocks. There’s a bit of Unobtainium in each scene too.
