Architecture - TWA Terminal

The airline industry has always been a place of luxury and dreams. It wasn't only about the flying that was life changing, but the terminals themselves. None of them can be as iconic as the TWA terminal at JFK International Airport in New York. This terminal took travel to another level. With the largest open floor lobby in the world it was a sight to see. It has recently been turned into a hotel that hopefully one day I will be able to stay at! This model shows the entire terminal with the addition of the hotel section and a Douglas aircraft sitting just outside. A true time capsule of aviation history.
