Minifigure: Alien Attack!

There's a breach in the hanger! It appears to be an attack by the nefarious gelare aliens! These squid-like creatures seek out innocent freighters in the outer rim of space. This freighter was peacefully transporting scientific and rare artifacts through the hostile region where the gelare species is notorious for boarding ships. Can the local Space Police stop the invasion in time? It's up to your imagination!

I gained inspiration from a small build that was on my shelf from about a year ago featuring one of these aliens and my original space minifigs. In this new version, I added my first Lego set; 5981 Raid VRP into the hangar of the freighter and put both my fist minifigures in this scene as well as my newest from some of the most recent CMFs.

This build is 64 x 29 studs to allow for the overhanging tentacles from the floor and features many little details that I believe would be perfect representation of the Lego space theme through the ages.
