The Jazz Quartet - Live in Concert

The Jazz Quartet's next concert will have you on the edge of your seat, wishing you could just scat along to the tunes!

For my poster, I was initially inspired by Oscar Peterson posters with their simple design and geometry. I chose to portray only one of the musicians, since I didn't want the poster to feel to crowded and distracting. I digitally painted the performer so that it could be realistic and yet also very simple and pleasing to the eye. I chose a soothing colour for the background, so that observers would not be annoyed by bright contrasting colours, since jazz is a very chill and groovy type of music.
