Musical: Accordion
My contribution to this contest is a Lego accordion, which could also called a lego squeeze box! This musical instrument was first created in Berlin in 1822, and while it originated in Europe it has spread throughout the world through waves of European immigration. These days the accordion is popular in many cultures, it is played in the Tango in Argentina and Orchestral performances in the United States.
This particular accordion is a "Piano accordion", quite obviously named after the piano keyboard featured on one side. There are 16 keys on the right hand side and 10 bass buttons on the left hand side (based on how you would hold it), I modeled it after one I have at home.
While this is a digital build pictured, I have a prototype in the wrong colors built physically to test the stability and I have all the necessary pieces sourced. The model is 746 pieces, 26 studs wide, and 21 studs tall.
