An Unending Quest!

I have a lot of ideas coming into this drawing of how I wanted the scene to be interpreted but honestly sharing them feels like it would take away from your ability to make a story of your own with it! I hope you enjoy the drawing and I’ve loved watching the entries come in and seeing all the amazing artwork!!

My process: As soon as this contest went live I began working on this project, as a nerd who loves Lego and Dnd and an artist I really couldn’t have asked for a better challenge! I mean I’m literally illustrating my own fantasy graphic novel so it’s just par for the course at this point lol. It took me a few tries to settle on a concept but I ultimately went with the meta idea of Dnd playing itself. It took me almost 17 hours and nearly 15k brush strokes but I’m confident to say this is probably the best art project I’ve ever made and I hope you all love it! I know it’s a bit late in the submission phase but I’m just happy I finished it in time lol
