Icosahedron of Invulnerability
When you don't have a glass bead at hand but you recently bought those really nice dice and the DM says it's ok to sacrifice the D20 to cast Icosahedron of Invulnerability.
I tried to paint the contents of the box Journey's End AND go back to classic (Pre-WotC) D&D at the same time. I aimed for a style similar to late TSR illustrations.
I also tried not using any weapons at all and the measure of my success in that was subject to some heated discussions at the dinner table.
Are the dragon's natural weapons weapons?
Is a torch a weapon? (Can a rorch be used as an improvised club of fire? Actually that one is a regular discussion in my D&D group)
Is a staff a weapon? (Wormtongue might want to have a word about that)
In any case, trying to paint a D&D picture without aby weapons in it was a fun challenge.
Fortunately, Dragons are not real animals, so we don't have to worry about the animal cruelty restrictions.
