Build: Rex

Rex is a model Tyrannosaurus Rex, built entirely from pieces included in the Robot Inventor kit. Rex stands roughly 24cm high and 48cm from nose to tail. The model uses four motors. Rex's mouth opens at the push of a button to roar. The tail swings from left to right by moving a horizontal slider. Rex has two small arms, that can be displayed or folded away.

Rex uses an adapted version of the legs from Gelo, which have been extended to make them longer and rotated. The legs do move, however its quite unstable at the moment. The 'feet' have increased in size to help with stability. Rex can balance without any external support.

The total build time was roughly 5-10 hours, during which the model went through many revisions and improvements.
