Concept - Candy Sorter ~Mandy~

Mandy sorts candy by color, shape, and size.

Basic
Mandy consists of a rotating base with an EV3 set on top of it. She also wears a hat with the color sensor attached to it to detect the color of the candy. The distance sensor is then programmed to detect where the candies are and picks them up one by one using motors. Finally, we program Mandy to drop the sorted candies into specific places where containers will be placed.

Advanced
1. Besides recognizing the color of the candy, Mandy can also detect its size and shape. It's a good way to sort through those King and Mini Sized candies.
2. Mandy can also line up treats on a plate. Isn't that neat? Now you don't have to worry about arranging those treats five minutes before a party starts.

Like every robot, even if it's just an idea, they need a good name. Mandy is short for multicolored candy.
