ChristmAT-ATree Decorating

In an alternate ending to the Battle of Hoth, the Rebels have a very merry Christmas!  Having repelled the Imperial Blizzard Force and saved Echo Base, they work on drawing Santa’s attention to the ice planet. If Luke Skywalker can impress Santa with some over-the-top holiday decorations, he might find a new X-wing on Christmas. They reprogram an Imperial probe droid to help hang wreaths and decorate a giant Christmas tree. The ghost of Obi-Wan says to Luke, “You must go beyond what is so common in the Dagobah system…” Confused, Luke consults Yoda. “Big, you go,” says Yoda, “Or home, you go.” Luke jumps in the nearest snowspeeder and wraps a giant AT-AT in lights and festive garland. Satisfied Santa would be impressed, Luke joins his friends by a warm, lightsaber lit fire.
