A Tie for the Pilot II

  The Big Picture

The idea here is kind of like getting a car for Christmas, but Star Wars style. Darth Vader was feeling generous, for once, and in the place of a car this pilot is getting a Tie fighter, hopefully he will not have to use in any dogfighting.

  The Features

 I gave my best try at coming up with an original, as well as detailed design for this tie fighter. These details include the rear view port, the flight control panel, targeting computer, steering yoke, and the top entry hatch. Also included, are the twin ion engines, which give this ship it's name. 

Ok, so if you have seen this earlier, this is basically the same post as my other one, but it has more pictures, and, I hope, a better explanation of the inner/outer workings and details of the design. I was kind of in a hurry to post the first one, because I thought that the entries ended the first hour of November 23, but thankfully I was wrong, and I am hopefully now giving a better presentation.
