Waterworld

Waterworld is a 1995 American post-apocalyptic action film, directed by Kevin Reynolds. 

The film is set in a distant future, where the polar ice has completely melted and water has submerged almost the entire earth.

The human race lives in floating cities called atolls.

The project recreates the floating atoll. The doors open thanks to a series of gears, exactly like in the film.

Inside you can find Gregor's laboratory and his flying machine, Helen's emporium, 

the prison where the Sailor is locked up and various lodgings and watchtowers.

Obviously the trimaran with which The Mariner arrives and then escapes from the atoll could not be missing.
