Sialia RES-1

It is a pleasure to introduce a brand new reconnaissance ship designed & produced by the Sialia Space Explorer Project. RES-1 is a light-weight spacecraft for two crew members – a pilot and an engineer responsible for operating various on-board systems. These include a sensor array on the starboard and a drone located in a compartment on the ship's port. The drone can be either remote-controlled or perform primary survey missions autonomously.

A pair of photo-voltaic panels provide enough energy to on-board systems during long-term observations during which engines are shut to save fuel. The spacecraft can carry supplies for missions lasting up to three months. An array of directional antennas attached to the front can maintain a stable and high-quality connection with the base station and other vessels.

This is my first contribution to any LEGO Ideas contest. Hope someone will like it a little. I definitely enjoyed designing and building the model!
