Space Police Interceptor

This build is based on the Space Police subtheme, ca 1989. Built using a combination of original 1980s Space LEGO and some modern elements, this sleek interceptor provides the Space Police a rapid-response capability to intercept and capture interstellar baddies. It seats one Space Police officer in the forward cockpit, and includes a rear operations station staffed by another officer, with additional room for any (restrained) baddies picked up along the way. The vertically-opposed wing sections provide maneuverability in the atmosphere of Earth and most other friendly planets, but the interceptor is most effective operating extra-orbital space. The radomes on each wing house powerful, long-range sensors to locate and identify threats. This build includes approximately 164 elements, not including the minifigure.
