U.E.S. Ridgeback

"Welcome Deep Space Traveller, to the United Earth Starship Ridgeback.

We're about to take off from Zeta V, en route to the Nebulon-system. 

At the moment we're waiting for clearance from Apollo-station to enter orbit 

I wanted to combine all my SciFi Memories into a single build: anime, famous films & series, ....
It had to have a sense of scale (massive!), easily recognizable (nothing is as iconic as a ship taking off/landing), and only use the contents of my bricks box. But mostly: I want viewers to wonder: "Where is the bridge?" "Where's the launch bay?" "How do these engines work?" "What - 213 bricks?" ...

Most importantly though: this is my first contribution and my first official foray into the world of bricks after a 30 year hiatus :)

I would like to tribute this to @Bulldoozer, @LEt.sGO, @GabKremo, @BraveCrawley012 and all the others for the wonderful inspiration and insights.
