Classic Space: Planetary Scout

The Planetary Scout features sleek curves, classic vibes, and a surprising defense mode. When under attack, two concealed laser cannons swoosh forward to protect the starship. The spacious pilot cage is designed to be easily customizable. This is attained by using a simple interchangeable system. This build contains 245 pieces. The cockpit and back slope are built at unusual angles, but these structures are solid, leaving absolutely no wiggle room. One of the most unique part usage is probably the minifigure seats used as small wings towards the back of the ship. While this complex Classic Space build was mainly designed with AFOLs in mind, I also wanted some features that would appeal to younger fans as well (hence the concealed laser cannons). It may look a bit large, but it has a very basic structure allowing more bricks to be used for detailing the exterior.
