The Warmth of the Great Hall

Welcome back to another year at Hogwarts!. This model is based on a scene from the Prisoner of Azkaban. It may seem to be a "colder" novel, but the Great Hall is always warm and inviting. The houses are arranged in order from right to left: Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff. 

Dumbledore is giving a speech from the head table. His podium is complete with a golden owl and candles (see inset.). The other professors seated at the head table are Remus Lupin, Snape, Professor McGonagall, and Mad-Eye Moody. The feast consists of tea, turkey and gravy, vegetables, bread and butter, chocolate, pastries, and butter beer. Some frogs have already been cast into the aisle, perhaps by an unruly student. A small food fight had also ensued. This year at Hogwarts is off to a good start.
