Across the Lake

In his first year, Harry travels from Hogsmeade Station to Hogwarts by boat, across the black lake. Led by Hagrid, it's where the first years see their new school for the first time, and is one of the most famous scenes in the Harry Potter franchise.

I have built 3 of the boats, as well as Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville and Hagrid. The figures are made using a variety of cool and complex techniques, and there are also some interesting piece uses throughout the build, such as hinge plates for noses, SNOT bricks for eyes and paint roller pieces for detail on the lamps. Other details include Harry's scar and small wooden niffler ornaments at the front of each boat.
