You're Not Going Mad, I Can See Them Too.

In this model I tried to replicate one of my favorite scenes in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in which the trio meets Luna Lovegood and then take a Thestral drawn cart to Hogwarts. with the model I tried to capture the forest that they travel through by adding a big pine tree, some smaller trees, and other foliage to really get the feel of the forest. For the cart i watched the scene from the movie over many times and tried to make it as best I could without making it huge. The minifigures are all from the Harry Potter line (except Luna) but just slightly modified to try and get somewhat of the right clothing that they had on in the film. The Thestral is just the one used in the Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grindelwald set and attached via pins. Luna Lovegood was just a custom because I didn't have one in my collection and same goes for Neville although the cart may not have fit him anyway. Overall i'm very happy with the final result and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
