The King
Denis Law - The King of United Manchester
Soccer is made of people and moments and Denis Law is the only man to have two statues dedicated to him at Old Trafford and both stand as testament to one of the Reds’ true living legends.
Since Denis has a great symbolism for the United Manchester, I thought it would be great to recreate one of his matches. One of the picture I liked the most is this one that I recreated as Lego form.
I´ve had some difficulties to scale a good proportion between back ground and the main scene, and I´ve tried to put everything in a small scaled Lego model where every thing could put together and create some depth distortion.
I believe this model is not perfect, but most of the scene and moment is represented.
I hope you enjoy!
Moment recreated:
Blackburn Rovers v Manchester United, league match at Ewood Park, Saturday 3rd April 1965. Denis Law in defence, aids keeper Pat Dunne, by clearing ball from Andy McEvoy.
