How Ideas Are Born

Dear builder,

Have you ever looked at a chessboard and pictured a thrilling medieval battle taking place? I sure have. Introducing, How Ideas Are Born - a diorama depicting a girl day-dreaming of an ongoing battle occurring on a chessboard.

I had fun exploring different pieces that I could use to detail the two 'figures', especially their faces. For example, I used rocky plates for the grandpa's hair and beard, and bananas for the the girl's pigtails.

In order to reference the DREAMZzz theme, I built half of the cloud as if it where being corrupted by a Grimspawn (hence, it is black and gray with trans-pink lightning, rather than white).
