Set 7773: Aqua Raiders

Many years ago, there was a young builder who was blissfully unaware of what LEGO was. He was well acquainted with DUPLO bricks, but he never suspected that there might be building blocks that were even cooler!

That was when he was introduced to his first LEGO theme: Aqua Raiders!

This minibuild is a representation of one of my first and favorite Aqua Raiders sets: 7773. It features a single diver and his underwater data station, searching for treasure while catching a glimpse of a prehistoric-sized tiger shark. His partner also has a cool submarine, to make sure there is a quick getaway just in case the beautiful shark gets a case of the munchies.

I loved Aqua raiders for its focus on treasure-hunting and amazing underwater creatures. They showed me how cool underwater exploration is and allowed me to tell new and awesome stories deep underwater!
