2 Pieces Lego Duck

This 2 pieces duck still does not break the record in the least pieces used. The record-holder is a boy who creates 1-pcs Lego "worm".

Inspired by the iconic wooden duck-a symbol of TLG. The story behind it goes back about 100 years. When the founder of TLG, Ole Kirk Kristiansen, was having his son, Godtfred, help out in the workshop, working on wooden ducks. He proudly told his father he has done something clever and saved money: “I gave the ducks just 2 coats of varnish, not 3 as we usually do.” Oke Kirk sent his son back to collect them and give them the final coat. "And you will do it on your own, even if it takes you all night!" The lesson that the future owner of TLG learned was that "only the best is good enough", which he carved into a wooden sign for the workshop wall. to remind himself and the rest of the employees never to compromise on the quality. Throughout his life, Godtfred remembers his father’s words "only the best is good enough" -Because children deserve the best.
