Castle
One of the most iconic sets of all time, 375-2 paved the way for every modern castle today, all the way back in 1978. The set was universally beloved upon its release and still is - over 40 years later. For this reason I think it is well deserving of a place in this contest in the form of a microscale reconstruction.
When I first thought of this set for this specific contest, my initial thought was that it would be fairly easy to replicate the blocky nature of the original model. To my horror, the simplicity of studs-up bricks and plates was not an effective technique when building in the micro-scale, hence the need for a wide adoption of SNOT. I took care to get details right, such as the correct number of windows (or whatever the official term is) and the four unique crests emblazed upon the armour of the 14 knights.
Although not the most technically advanced model I'd have liked to build, I'm rather happy with the end result. Hope you like it!
