6339 Shuttle Launch Pad

As a 90’s kid obsessed with all things LEGO Space and Town, set 6339 Shuttle Launch Pad combined the best of both worlds for me! I built this micro version as an homage to a wonderful set, and I tried to capture the play features of the original. The crawler slides the space shuttle to the booster rockets at the tower, they connect together and then slide away for launch! This model uses a mix of both new and old bricks. Even the Launch Command sticker is an official LEGO element - it came from an old 90’s Mania Magazine!
