Father Vs Son

Onboard the Second Death Star, the epic final confrontation between father and son takes place, with the fate of the entire galaxy hanging in the balance. As Jedi and Sith clash their lightsabers together within the foreboding Throne Room, Emperor Sheev "The Senate" Palpatine sits gleefully in the background watching this battle unfold, with its outcome determining which Skywalker shall become his true apprentice...

For my submission, I wanted to accurately capture the look and aesthetic of that iconic duel seen in Return of the Jedi in Lego form, so I built a diorama of the Throne Room to be as close to mini figure scale as possible. For the archway over the viewport, I created an upside-down assembly which was fitted on top of the lower half, in as circular a pattern as my parts allowed.
