The Battle Of Yavin - McQuarrie Style!

This is the iconic Battle Of Yavin, as envisioned by the great Ralph McQuarrie. I've always loved McQuarrie's original concept art for Star Wars, and I wanted to pay tribute to him with my contest entry. I've tried my best to capture the essence of his artwork in LEGO form, which is definitely a difficult thing to do. As you can see, my entry features McQuarrie's X-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Fighter, and Death Star all in one large battle scene. This MOC was built in LDD, rendered in Stud.io, and slightly enhanced with Photoshop. Everything you see here is my own creation. I've had a bit of trouble getting this entry approved, but I hope you all enjoy, and may the force be with you!
