The Battle of Endor (Space Scene)

This is my battle scene and probably one of my favorite moments in Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

The initial idea was to make a death star II with a full interior and exterior and it was originally a lot bigger but finally I abandoned the first draft and started making this smaller model, then I started adding some Imperial ships to it, and when I realized I had a small battle scene, then I added some other details like the destruction of the Super Star Destroyer onto the Death Star surface, the Millenium Falcon escape after the destruction of its power core and also the escape of Luke Skywalker inside the Imperial Shuttle.

The design of the model was made with LEGO Digital Designer and has a total of 4122 bricks including a base for the Death star that is not featured in the pictures. I also used Photoshop to enhance the pictures a bit
