The Chains are the Easy Part

"The chains. The chains are the easy part. It's what goes on in here that's hard."

Darth Maul has been left wounded, ravaged, and not in the least bit sane by his encounter with Obi-Wan Kenobi. In one of the greatest battles of the mind that has ever before been seen, Maul struggles for sanity and survival on the immense junk heap of a planet called Lotho Minor. He has constructed for himself a crude (yet glorious) contraption: spider legs to replace those that he lost at the hand of Kenobi.

As he will later go on to say, "He took them! He took them from me!"

Poor, poor Maul is left to cling to survival in a dark, crusty cave far beneath the surface, with only his molten fire pit to accompany him.
