The Final Confrontation

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...Well, actually it was on Earth in 1977, fans watched the battle between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan come to a dramatic end aboard the Death Star! The conclusion of the decades old battle between master and learner left fans imagining and wondering themselves for decades how it all had started.

Hi everyone! When I decided to make this scene for the contest, I wanted to build something that if I saw in the stores I would want to get to put on my shelf, so I built it as a display piece. The scene is very small in size so to add detail without it looking cluttered or appear to enclose the space further was challenging! I also wanted to add something as a tribute to Lego Star Wars' 20th anniversary, so I used a very special minifigure, an original 1999 Obi-Wan from set #7110, you can truly call him "old" Ben!
