Vintage Island Hopper

One day, Douglas Ornier had had enough of his job as a business consultant. So he quit his job, took all his earnings and fulfilled a childhood dream: He bought a pearl light grey vintage waterplane and now offers touristic sightseeing flights on a warm and sunny atoll! And as luck would have it, today his passenger is the smart and attractive Elly Earhart, an aeronautic enthusiast just like him. Maybe there's some summer romance to unfold in the air?

The contest immediatly reminded me of a young man offering touristic flights that I saw when vacationing at the sea as a young boy. He had a vintage plane very similar to this and I like to believe that this marks the beginning of my love for planes and stiff breezes at the beach ;)

The model is built of exactly 250 parts, including the two minifigures and their accessories, the camera and the wrench.
