Summer 1997
This small model shows the realization in bricks of a childhood memory of mine of which I still keep the photos.
It was the summer of 1997. Under the July sun, my father and I built a sand racing car in which a child could sit and pretend to drive. When the word spread, children from all over the beach came to our umbrella to try it out.
In detail you can see the racing car made of sand, two reclining chairs, a blue beach towel, a mini fridge with a canned drink, a newspaper and the inevitable bucket and spade.
The design of the t-shirts is freely inspired by the clothes worn in the photograph.
Have fun playing with the sand...bricks!
