A Fisherman's Day

Whenever I go enjoy myself at the beach I like observing the locals as they live their daily lives and perform their daily chores. This old fisherman is returning from a long day on the open sea and doesn't even notice the beautiful sunset behind him, even though most of us, tourists, would probably observe the setting sun. For him a beautiful sunset is probably a scene he sees daily and therefore doesn't impress him any more.

The idea behind this model was a photo of a local fisherman, that expands into the third dimension to add some depth. The palm tree is reaching out of the frame and some sand fell out of the frame as well.
