Behind the Curtain

"Behind the Curtain" is an idea that is based on a sad true happening which inspired me to this creation.

We spent our last holidays at a very crowded and polluted beach at the northsea. Something that we didn't know and regretted at the same time because it was really noisy and busy. And then on the last day there was this little crab fighting for its life tied up in plastic and a piece of an old fishernet. This was such a formative experience not just to have seen this on a screen in TV but in real life.

An experience that could have been abandoned because it felt so unnatural und uncomfortable but luckily we could free the little mr. Krabs and release him without rubbish into the water where the next plastic enemy waits...

So I decided to take this contest to make a statement! Otherwise we will just have beautiful Lego coasts in the future and I think this is something nobody really wants!

Don't throw plastic into the ocean - make Lego out of it! ;-)
