Helter Skelter Slide
The highlight of any trip to the seaside is going on the helter skelter slide, with the mini-fig demonstrating in the photos by taking one small step at a time in suitable beach attire. Boy is it high up here. Then let gravity accelerate you around the corners at top speed into a sandy landing.
Building the slide was straightforward with twelve A-frames, attaching it to a suitable structure while finding room for a staircase was tricky, as there was no much space and limited bricks to do this with. One and a half revolutions was chosen as this is usually the minimum for a helter skelter, two been more typical. The yellow connectors and A-frame at the top are ready to connect to another set in order to obtain three revolutions. The technic frame is very strong and probably could support at least a dozen revolutions.
The colour scheme is based on nautical colours; red, white, dark (navy) blue, and dark (gold) yellow, which helps to draw the mini-figs from the other end of the beach.
