The Battle of the Pen
The Battle of the Pen
Based on a somewhat true story
One night, while the Farmer and his Very Handsome Son slept, the dreaded Evil Wolf Monster crept into the yard where one of the farmer’s foolish daughters had neglected to lock in the chickens for the night (pic #2). Seeing his chance, the Evil Wolf Monster pounced (pic #3); but he had forgotten Dave, the heroic rooster! While the rest of his flock set up their egg launchers, Dave himself charged the Evil Wolf Monster in an effort to rescue the first chicken, whose name was Penny (pic #1). The wolf, realizing what was happening, whipped out his own weapons: two twin claws! Things were looking bad for Dave & Co. when the Farmer’s Heroically Handsome Son woke up to the sound of squawking. Rushing downstairs, he grabbed his mother’s rolling pin and chased the Evil Wolf Monster away forever! The Farmer, by the way, slept through the whole thing.
Of course, there is another possible ending. I couldn’t bear to type it, so see the last pic.
