Flooding Meteors

Last night there was a meteor that fell from the sky and landed next to a waterfall.  Soon after it looked like a few smaller meteors fell from the sky but had strange flight patterns.  Help the Gladiator’s fend off the aliens from reaching the crystallized meteor first.  These aliens are not on the nice side.  They will knock off your helmet and cut up your cape, who would do a thing like that?  However, with the battle both sides did not notice the miner crack open the meteor to grab a few gems for himself.  Now how do you suppose that water was stored in the giant rock?
