A Cup of Tea
This is a three-dimensional brick-built painting that depicts Sensei Wu having a cup of tea in the Monastery of Spinjitzu. It is based on the classic scene from the pilot episode where Kai has to complete the training course before Sensei Wu finishes his tea.
In the centre of the painting you can see Master Wu holding a blue teapot and pouring tea into a cup. There is also a black tray with a blue sugar bowl next to Wu, and on the other side you can see his staff on the floor. Finally, the doors and walls of the Monastery can be seen in the background.
When designing this model, I tried to make it look like a painting with some kind of 3D effect. That is why I used slightly darker colours in some places in order to create shading and make it look more three-dimensional, e.g. on Wu's hat and on his teapot (both are actually flat and not round).
I would exhibit this "painting" in a Ninjago Museum because it shows my favourite Ninjago character, an iconic location and – of course – tea!
