Gondor calls for aid.</span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(0, 40, 0);">Gondor's Beacon of War is lit in secret by Pippin at the request of Gandalf, because Denethor refuses to call for aid.</span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(0, 40, 0);">This scene has always stood out to me as it is the turning point is the war, for without it Rohan never assembles and Gondor would've fallen.</span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(0, 40, 0);">This scene also has one of my favorite pieces of music in the trilogy</span></div><div><span style="color: rgb(0, 40, 0);"><span class="ql-cursor">﻿</span>Hope is kindled!</span></div>
