Scene: Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbits

In The Two Towers chapter "Of Herbs and Stewed Rabbits" Sam, Frodo, and Gollum have an encounter with the Haradrim, their Oliphaunt mounts, and the Ithilien Rangers led by Faramir. When recreating this scene I wanted to find a balance between diorama and play-set.

On the main road, the Oliphaunt towers over the cliff and trees, with a column of Haradrim in front (and a scooper in back).

In the tree line, the Ithilien Rangers lie waiting to strike behind trees, bushes, or hidden cracks in the rock. Beneath the cliff is their secret hideout, with supplies and beds.

Off the main road, Sam and Frodo are distracted from their rabbit stew. Gollum is preparing his own meal, while still contemplating Po-Ta-Toes.
