Location: Bag End, Bilbo’s Study

Due to this challenge I built a little booknook for my Tolkien bookshelf. I immediately came up with the idea of Bilbo’s study, the place where he starts writing his stories.

My model is quite solid, but the interior is filled with small details like the piles of books and maps you can find all over the floor. Speaking of the parquet floor, I went with a stud-free design. Instead, I used tiles that are lined up vertically.

All in all one of my most favourite pieces on display and a perfect solution to decorate my Tolkien shelf.
