SCENE: The Pass of Caradhras

“It is a strange fate we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing” – Boromir

And Gandalf’s effort to lead the fellowship over Caradhras was just the beginning of the suffering they would endure during their quest to destroy the one ring.

With this build I’ve tried to recreate the scene where the fellowship journeys over the Misty Mountains. The scene from the pass of Caradhras is imprinted in my mind as a very iconic scene from Fellowship of The Ring. It was the first build that came to my mind when I saw this challenge because it features the entire fellowship in a magnificent setting.

The mountain is built in a scale that just fits the nine minifigures. I’ve made it so to create a displayable piece that can fit in almost everywhere regardless of how much space you have to display your LEGO collection.
