Location: Map of Middle Earth
In the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit books, there would often be a hand drawn map of Middle Earth. I decided to recreate that map with some of the most iconic locations featured as mini-builds.
Here is the legend for this map in no particular order:
Bag End in The Shire
The Trollshaws
Dol Guldur in Mirkwood
Erebor, the Lonely Mountain
The Lake-Town Esgaroth
The Prancing Pony in Bree
Rivendell with the Council of Elrond
Doors of Durin with the Watcher in the Water
The colossal statues of Argonath
Tower of Orthanc in Isengard
Treebeard emerging from Fangorn Forest
Helm’s Deep
Minas Tirith and an Oliphaunt
Dead Men of Dunharrow on a pirate ship
Minas Morgul and the Witch-King of Angmar
The Black Gate
The Dead Marshes with Shelob the Great
Mt. Doom with a Great Eagle overhead
Sauron watching from Barad-Dûr
