The Butterfly
I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, and I've been in love with steampunk since the long nights I've spent playing themed computer games in the early 2000s. For me, a 24-tooth technic gear symbolizes everything that I cherish in this passion: elegance, practicality and function!
And by the way, spring is here! So why not combine this all in a magnificent sculpture for your home: a mechanical butterfly to honor your brick-inspired flower bouquets? The dark blue and black theme brings an elegance and compatibility with a modern home, while the rustic gold and brass colors will vividly stand out in any living room!
The Butterfly is a massive build: with over 1500 parts and 230+ unique elements, it spans along just a little short of 40 cm. The wings are adjustable through reinforced socket-joint connections, many of the mechanical elements are functional, and the build can be easily removed from its support.
