Cubism

An avid fan of both math and optical illusions, I decided to artfully join these two passions, crafting nothing less than a new style of art (okay, that's a bit pompous). Still, I translated the well-known illusion of a corner of stacked cubes into colorful 1 x 1 bricks, seamlessly blending hue and value between different tones of LEGO colors. This intricate 2½-dimensional piece of art is surrounded by a special frame, designed as brick-built interpretation of the Reuleaux triangle, and by this as a hybrid of a circle and a triangle.

The 2710-piece model measures 77 x 77 x 4 studs and weighs 2.3 kg.
