Hyacinths

One very early spring blooming flower (many even get them for Christmas) is the hyacinth. When kept in a pot indoors, they're classically planted with much of the bulb visible, which was an important detail I wanted to incorporate in this build. I made the three most common hyacinth colors, as well as a bud before flowering, to complete the set.

Each flower is made up of 61 banana peel pieces, which was also my main inspiration to create this build in the first place. The banana peel pieces just look exactly like the individual flowers along the hyacinth stem.
