Z.U.S NKLOSO and the Afronauts

Celebrating the dream of the Zambian Space Program Director, Edward Makuka Nkoloso, and the first woman planned to go to space, Matha Mwambwa, the Zambian United Starship is the culmination of the reactivated Afronaut Program of 2059. Carrying a crew of six afronauts and two cats, the ships is fully self-sustaining, with hydroponic vegetable garden, criogenic capsules, cold fusion reactors for power, a compact satellite for reconnaissance and a rover drone for soil analysis. The mission of the Z.U.S NKOLOSO is to stabilish the first human settlement outside of the solar system, a dangerous mission, but one that may change the human presence in the cosmos forever.
